It is with the greatest pleasure and most exciting feelings of a great future of a great Christian School that I report to you from the end of the first year of Maranatha Christian School in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.  In one year, in the midst of a poor neighbourhood we have been able to raise up an institution that is changing the futures and the present for scores of children. Maranatha Christian School is a smashing success. I know it seems my adjectives are a little over the top but it is only because this school has achieved so much in just one short year. As you know, our school year in Pakistan ends in March and the New Year begins in April. We recently finished our first full year and celebrated with a program for our children. Awards were given for the best grades, and performance, and attitude, etc. to let our students know how proud we were of them. Also, our teachers received recognition. The program was about 2 hours long and some parents could only come for the presentation of their children so the crowd was revolving, but everyone was amazed at where we came from and where we had arrived. THIS WAS ONLY POSSIBLE by the sacrifices of you all who wanted to help our persecuted Christian Community in Pakistan. Education for our children is one of our greatest needs. Praise God for all that has been accomplished.
