Since 2021, Maranatha has opened classroom doors to children from poor Christian families in Pakistan, free of charge. Every child follows the government syllabus, hears the Word of God each day and is treated with dignity.

Who we are
A school that grew out of a church family
Maranatha Christian School began in 2021 on the campus of Good Samaritan Church at Haji Park, Lahore. Its purpose was simple and costly: to give Christian children from struggling homes a proper education without charging their parents any tuition at all.
The first school opened with 250 pupils and soon passed 300. Since then the Maranatha family has grown into a small network of tuition-free Christian schools, and other communities keep asking for a school of their own.

Each Maranatha school serves a Christian community where parents work long days in fields, brick kilns and building sites, and where a school fee can bring a child's education to an end.

The third tuition-free school, serving more than 60 Christian families in Seowal who work in the fields, in brick kilns and on building sites.
